well… being the person i am, i would say that someone who keeps changing their mind isn’t worth it. but you don’t think that, right?
i guess you should confirm what he means by ‘friend’. two people i know that are dating would be fine with referring to themselves as friends as well, because they’re rather relaxed about it, while also really liking each other.
also, if he said he loved you after calling you his friend, then that would mean you shouldn’t have to get over him - then again, if he hasn’t acted upon it…
